In a unexpected crossover event that defies usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Revealed

According to the official release, "A mysterious meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden group.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Transformations

The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
